Rak Free Zone Company Setup (RAK FTZ)

The Ras Al Khaimah Free trade zone was established in 2000 and is a cost effective alternative free zone which is rapidly growing. Now the Free Trade Zone is having more than 8000 companies, but there are at least 50 different types of industries located inside of it. The region offers customized support for every investor who decides to setup a company here.

Ras Al Khaimah Free Trade Zone Parks

The free zone is divided into four free parks so that the requirements of companies can be fulfilled:

Business Park

Located in the centre of Ras Al Khaimah's business district, it is for those clients who are having developed business centres. There are fully furnished and functional offices which can be leased at very flexible rates.

Industrial Park

It is specifically developed for heavy industries and warehouses, and it also has facilities to generate energy supply. Administrative Support Centres and Service Centres are available at the location and there is also accommodation for employees.

Technology Park

Dedicated to Automotive Manufacturing and light industries. It is also for those who are capital intensive lifestyles.

Academic Zone

This zone comprises of organisations seeking to provide education and academic programs to those living in Ras AL Khaimah and other UAE communities.

Trade Licenses in Ras Al Khaimah Free Zone

The following licenses are available

Consulting, Service & Real Estate License
With this license, one can perform activities such as consulting in finance, investment, legal issues, management, labour relations, industrial development, economics, and other related matters. Logistical Support like restaurant and food outlets, travel agencies, social activities, insurance, accounting and auditing are some of the others things that you will be able to undertake with this license.
Commercial License
This license allows you to perform various activities such as import, export, consolidation, warehousing, and others specified on the License.
Industrial License
This allows the import of raw materials and further manufacturing, processing, assembling, packaging and exporting of the finished products. Companies require to be cleared from the RAZ FTZ, should have gone through feasibility and environmental impact studies.
General Trading License
This is similar to the commercial license and one can obtain the clearance to perform activities such as export, import, distribution and warehousing.
