Hamriyah Free Zone (HFZ)
Hamiray Free Zone is located in Sharjah after having been established in 1995. Two types of companies can be setup in Hamriyah Free Zone:
New Company
To create a new company, one has to submit an application for Free Zone Enterprises or Free Zone Companies and submit the capital required for the land warehouse into a bank. After the agreements have been signed and the payments made, the license and the certificate of incorporation will be issued.
Branch
No shared capital has to be deposited but certain documents have to be submitted for company setup in Hamriyah Free Zone

- Notarized Copy of the License or Certificate of Commercial Registration from the Economic Department
- Memorandum and Articles of Association of the company
- Copy of the resolution by the board of directors for the setup of Hamriyah Free Zone and the passport copy of the general manager along with the power of attorney
- Bank reference letter
Branch of International Company
- Notarized Copy of the Certificate of Incorporation
- Memorandum and Articles of Association
- Copy of the resolution by the board of directors for the setup of Hamriyah Free Zone and the passport copy of the general manager along with the power of attorney
- Bank Reference Letter of Good Standing
License Types in Hamriyah Free Zone Company Setup
Industrial LicenseThis license allows one to facilitate the import of goods to manufacture, process, and assemble products. The products can be sold outside of the UAE, but if it were to be sold inside, then it is to be sold through an agent or local distributor
Commercial licenseThis allows one to facilitate the import and export, and to sell and store items that are in the license. The products can be sold in the UAE through an agent or a local distributor
Service LicenseUnder this license, one is allowed to carry out the services specified in this license.
